Warren Hill, MD Joins Omega Ophthalmics LLC Medical Advisory Board

Lexington, KY – September 28, 2015.

Omega Ophthalmics LLC (Omega) has announced today that Warren Hill, MD has joined their Medical Advisory Board, effective immediately.

Dr. Hill has been the Medical Director of East Valley Ophthalmology in Mesa, Arizona for the past 30 years, specializing in consultative ophthalmology, challenging anterior segment surgery and intraocular lens power calculations.

Dr. Hill received BS and BA undergraduate degrees from the University of Maryland, his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and did his ophthalmology training at the University of Rochester, in Rochester, New York. He is certified in general ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has subspecialty certification in anterior segment surgery by the American Board of Eye Surgery. Dr. Hill is also a member of the prestigious International Intra-Ocular Implant Club and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

He is a consultant to industry in the field of intraocular lens mathematics, intraocular lens design, and optical biometry. In this area has delivered 16 named lectureships including the Innovator’s Lecture of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Charles Kelman Lecture of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Hill has published many scientific articles, served as visiting professor for numerous grand rounds, and has delivered more than 600 presentations to ophthalmic societies both in the United States and internationally in 36 countries and on six continents, including live surgery demonstrations at meetings in North and South America as well as Europe. Dr. Hill has received the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Secretariat and Senior Achievement Awards and for three years was the Cataract and Anterior Segment Subspecialty Editor for the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Ophthalmic News and Education (O.N.E.) Network. In 2013, Dr. Hill was appointed to the Governing Board of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
